White teas can be consumed both fresh and aged. In comparison to the fresh sun dry aromatic of the fresh white teas, aged white teas are:
- with a deep color in both dry leaves and tea brew
- The flavor changing from being refreshing and lightly sweet to mellow, mature, rich with a hint of medicine, wood or date.
